January is all about fresh perspectives, and we’re kicking off 2026 by changing how your attendees navigate your conference program.
We know that as a researcher or organizer, your schedule is your lifeline during a busy symposium.

For attendees, navigating a dense multi-track conference can be overwhelming. The new Grid View transforms your event schedule into a clear, intuitive matrix.
Benefit: The Grid View allows event attendees to rapidly scan the entire program, ensure they more easily build their agenda and never miss a critical session or poster presentation that aligns with their work.

How it works
You can switch from the grid to the list view on your conference page.
Each column represents a specific room at your venue, while each row marks a time slot, providing a spatial and temporal map of your entire event at a glance. A new filter also allows attendees to filter for specific rooms.
Parallel sessions are shown side-by-side allowing attendees to easily see what is taking place at the same time.
Time-Scaled Layout
Each item of the program is proportional to the same time scale, meaning attendees can easily get a feel of the length of each session relative to others.
For example, a 30-minute session will be third to the size of a one-and-a-half-hour session.
This helps attendees organize their time better at the event.
Color-coding
Sessions are automatically color-coded based on your track settings. That allows attendees to quickly spot sessions that are of interest to them.
Span sessions across all rooms
Display sessions across all rooms, helping attendees spot lunch breaks, dinners, or networking events for example.
Availability
The Grid View is available now on all Fourwaves plans.
Color-coding for sessions, perfect for distinguishing between different research tracks or themes, is available exclusively on our Pro plan with the Tracks Management feature.
